Solicitors and law firms must understand where the money comes from when dealing with large amounts of money to prevent money laundering and fraud. What do you do if open banking is not working?

If your digital banking is not connecting

Step 1: tap on confirm my funds

Step 2: Tap on 'Other' or any other source in the list that applies

Step 3: Add the amount and press add

Step 4: Repeat the process until 'Confirmed funds' match the 'Funds required'

You should repeat this step until all your 'Confirmed funds' match your 'Funds required'

Common questions:

What happens if you can't link to your digital banking?

If you can't connect to open banking, you can also add the funding details to 'other'.

Note: You should upload bank statements and any other supporting evidence in the next section.

Why is it not moving to the next step?

Please check that your confirmed funds match the funds required.

What if half of the deposit comes from a co-buyer?

You can select co-buyer funds from the list of sources of funds and add how much they'll be adding to the purchase of the property.
