If you are a buyer completing a check, you might be requested to upload evidence of where your funds are coming from (source of funds).

This is done to satisfy AML's (Anti-money Laundering) due diligence and ensure they have been obtained legitimately.

Below are some examples of documents you can upload to evidence the source of funds

  1. Property Sale: Memorandum of sale

  2. Gift: The donor will complete a check to verify where the gift money originated from

  3. Inheritance: Will statement

  4. Other: Bank statements

  5. ISA: ISA statement

  6. Premium bonds: Premium Bonds statements

  7. Remortgage: Mortgage offer letter

  8. Business funds: Business funds statement

  9. Mortgage: Mortgage offer letter

  10. Sale of asset: Bill of sale or memorandum of sale

  11. Co-buyer funds: The co-buyer will complete a check to verify where their funds originated from
