Verifying tenant income is a critical part of screening prospective tenants to ensure you can pay your rent on time.

In order to figure out your minimum income/joint income (before tax and National Insurance deductions), we will multiply your yearly rent by 2.5.

The easiest and most secure way to prove this is via Digital Bank Statements (Open Banking)

Applicants who do not pass the referencing criteria may be required to provide a guarantor.

Please note we cannot accept the following:

  • employment or income from outside the UK

  • employment that starts too far in the future (more than 14 working days into the future)

Acceptable documents to verify income:

  1. 3 Month's Payslips

  2. A signed employment contract

  3. SA302 (in case the user is self-employed)

  4. Letter of employment

What these documents need to display are the following:

  • Full Name

  • Gross Income

  • Start Date

  • Type of employment

  • Full Name of Employer

  • Signature of employee

  • Signature of employer

  • Date of signature
