For those who are selling a property they don't live in, you can submit any of the documents above plus the following:
Original mortgage statements from a recognised lender for the last full year
HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) self-assessment letters or tax demands dated within the current financial year
An insurance policy schedule for the property
A copy of the agreement for the purchase of the property
A lettings agent agreement on headed paper
A local authority building regulations sign off for works undertaken to the property addressed to the individual
Management company service charge demands for the property addressed to the individual
Confirmation of tenancy deposit scheme registration
For proof of funds:
Property Sale: Memorandum of sale
Gift: The donor will complete a check to verify where the gift money originated from
Inheritance: Will statement
Other: Bank statements
ISA: ISA statement
Premium bonds: Premium Bonds statements
Remortgage: Mortgage offer letter
Business funds: Business funds statement
Mortgage: Mortgage offer letter
Sale of asset: Bill of sale or memorandum of sale
Co-buyer funds: The co-buyer will complete a check to verify where their funds originated from
For proof of income and employment, you can submit any of the following:
3 months' payslips
Signed employment contract
SA302 (if self-employed)
Letter of employment

Full name
Gross income
Start date
Type of employment
Full name of employer
Signature of employee and employer
Date of signature
