💡 Some donor flows may require slightly more or less information, depending on the organisation’s specific verification process.

Getting Started

To begin your Proof of Funds flow:

  • Click the link sent to you by the solicitor or agency.

  • If you haven’t installed the app yet, you’ll be redirected to download it from the App Store or Google Play Store.

  • Once installed, open the app — it will automatically guide you through each step of the process for the property purchase.

Verify your identity

  • Have a valid photo ID ready (passport, driving licence, or Biometric Residence Permit).

  • Scan your ID — ensure the room is well-lit and the image is clear.

  • Scan your face — make sure there’s good lighting and your face is visible.

Complete your basic information

  • Add your email address.

  • Enter your addresses for the past three years.

  • Select your employment status.

Confirm your proof of funds

If you’ve been asked to provide a breakdown of your funds — for example £500,000 — you’ll need to show how that total amount is made up.

Example breakdown:

  • Co-buyer funds: £100,000

  • Gifts: £150,000

  • Savings: £250,000

Make sure the total amount you add equals the full amount you’ve been asked to verify.

Review and submit

Check that all your information is correct, then tap Send to complete your guarantor flow.

Common questions

  • What if I can’t connect to Open Banking?

If you’re unable to connect, don’t worry — you can still complete the process by:

  • Selecting Other as your fund type

  • Entering the amount

  • Uploading your bank statements or other supporting evidence in the next step
