Before you start

Make sure you’ve already completed the Proof of Funds task.

You’ll now explain how each amount listed there was acquired — for example, from savings, a gift, or an inheritance.

💡 Example:

If your Proof of Funds shows £100,000 made up of:

  • Gift (inheritance): £50,000

  • Savings: £50,000

Then your Source of Funds might explain:

  • “I received £50,000 from my grandmother’s inheritance in 2014 (documents attached).”

  • “I saved £50,000 over 5 years through my salary.”

How to complete the task

  • Open the Source of Funds task in the app.

  • Tap each fund (e.g. Savings, Gift) to add a short explanation.

  • In the text box, describe how you got the money — include who it came from or how it was built up.

  • Tap Add once complete.

  • Repeat for each fund until all are marked as done, then tap Continue.

💡 Tips for a smooth experience

  • Be specific — short answers like “savings” aren’t enough.

  • Add dates or sources when possible.

  • Attach supporting documents if requested.
