How do you check the tenant's financial suitability?

We use open banking. This assesses your finances and lets us know your ability to afford the rent/property in question.

What's an AML check?

AML stands for anti-money laundering. This check is to make sure that the money your buyer is using to buy the property, or the landlord/seller that bought the property used is legitimate and not from illegal activities.

Why do I need a Land Registry flow?

A land registry flow is essential to see if your landlord or seller actually owns the property.

What documents do you accept from tenants and landlords?

We accept a Passport or a UK Driving licence.

What's included within your Credit Check?

Our Credit Check uncovers any past publicly available adverse information or court action against UK citizens. It includes: CCJs, Bankruptcy, Insolvency, Debt Relief, Arrangements or Sanctions. If any adverse information is found, this will be available in our report.

When do I pay for the service?

For our free plan, card details are not required upon signing up, however, this plan only includes ID and affordability checks and will not generate a report.

For our pro plan, card details are required to generate a report. This plan includes total use of our platform and you will be able to verify tenants, buyers, landlords and sellers. We provide unlimited checks for 1 month per property at a cost of £7.99 ex-VAT.

How to activate ongoing monitoring on applicants?

In order to activate ongoing monitoring, click on the three dots that you'll find on your property card. Proceed to choose the clients you want to monitor, and it's done!

How do I link applicants?

In order to link applicants click on the three dots that you'll find on your property card. Proceed to choose the tenants you want to link and press okay.

You can find a new report with the combined information of all applicants linked below your property card.

How do I find my properties?

On the side menu, click either 'sales' or 'lettings' and find the property. If it's a property for sales you'll find it in the sales board, alternatively, if it is a property to let, you'll find it in the lettings dashboard.

How do I add my first property?

Once you log onto the dashboard, click 'assets', then click on 'property sales' on the main page. Then you can click on 'create a new property'. This will open a screen where you can fill in the details for your property.

How do I find a report?

There are various options for you to find a report.

  • On the home page you'll find the recently completed reports. You could also click on search (applicants) and type the name of your prospective client, press enter and reports belonging to that specific applicant will show up.

  • On your Lettings or Sales Board, you'll find the recently completed reports on the right side of the board. Or by clicking the document icon on the property card.

  • Click on your property card and you can find the reports under the "completed" section.

How do I signup if I am an agency or a landlord?

Agency

As an agency, you can sign up on our dashboard by clicking here. From here you will be able to add your property and start getting your tenants referenced.

However, if you are looking to add properties directly from your CRM system click here to get our sales team in touch with you.

Landlord

How do I send a magic link?

Click on a link that looks like this https://vl.ink/**** on your property card. You can send this magic link to your prospective clients by email, text or any other messaging media.
