Let’s say you have two clients—Person A and Person B—who both share the same mobile number. Here’s how to handle their checks using Checkboard to avoid any issues:

  1. Send the Check to Person A First:

    • Why: If you send invitations to both clients at the same time, it can cause problems with duplicate checks or account access. So, start by sending the check to Person A only.

  2. Wait for Person A to Complete Their Check:

    • Once Person A has completed their check, they need to close or reset their Checkboard account.

      • They can do this themselves in the app settings or by contacting customer service.

      • Alternatively, you can email Checkboard’s support team at [email protected] with Person A’s consent to reset the account.

Important: For privacy reasons (GDPR), the request to close or reset the account has to come from Person A directly.

  3. Confirm the Reset:

    • Once the account has been reset, the app users will get a confirmation from Checkboard. Checkboard will also send you an email requesting for a new check to be sent to Person B.

  4. Send the Check to Person B:

    • Now that the account is reset and you have been notified, you can send the invitation to Person B. They’ll be able to complete their check without any problems.

  5. Follow Up:

    • After both clients have completed their checks, it’s a good idea to follow up with them to ensure everything went smoothly. If either of them runs into any issues, you can direct them to Checkboard’s support team for help.
