1. What’s happening.

On the 10th February 2026, our Open Banking provider Yapily will be renewing security certificates across UK banks.

This is a routine maintenance but may cause short service interruptions while banks apply the updates.

2. When will the disruption occur.

Date: 10 February 2026
Time: Between 9:00am and 12:00pm (GMT)

Not all banks will be affected, but some may experience issues during this window.

3. Affected services.

During the maintenance period, the following Open Banking services may be impacted:

  • Payments.

  • Account Information.

  • Data.

Some users may return temporary 4XX errors while processing the new certificates on the Checkboard App.

4. What this means for you.

If you send a flow that requires Open Banking during this time:

  • Your app users may see errors.

  • Some users may not be able to connect their bank on the Checkboard App.

  • Payments, account information, and data checks may fail on some banks.

5. What happens to existing users.

After the update is finished:

  • Existing Open Banking connections will disconnect.

  • Any ongoing checks or profiles using Open Banking may stop.

  • Your app users will need to reconnect their bank accounts on the Checkboard App.

6. What your users need to do.

If a user sees an error or is disconnected:

  • They just need to reconnect their bank using the Checkboard App.

  • This will fix the issue and allow the flow to continue.

Summary

  • Open Banking may be unreliable between 9am and 12pm.

  • Flows that require Open Banking may fail during this time.

  • Existing connections will need to be reconnected after the update on the Checkboard App.
