How to complete the Employment task

Easily add your employment details in the app to verify your work status as part of your flow.

How to enter your employment details in the app

Follow these steps:

  • Select your employment status — choose the option that best describes your current situation (e.g. Employed, Self-Employed, Unemployed, Student, or Retired).

  • Choose your occupation — tap Occupation, then use the search bar to find and select your specific job title.

  • Enter your National Insurance Number — select whether you have one, and if so, type it into the box provided.

  • Review and continue — once all details are complete, tap Continue to move to the next section.

If you’re currently Unemployed, a Student, or Retired

Select Unemployed, Student, or Retired, and follow the same steps above (skipping Step 2 if it doesn’t apply).

You may still need to submit proof of funds if you’re renting or acting as a guarantor.
Please refer to your agent or solicitor for further advice based on your circumstances.

If your job isn’t listed

If you can’t find your exact occupation, select the job that is closest or most similar to what you do.
