How to complete the Address task

Learn how to complete the Address task and what to do if you are having trouble adding yours to your account.

Adding your address in the app

If you live in the UK

  • Select “United Kingdom” as your country.

  • Enter your postcode in the search box.

  • Choose your address from the list of suggestions.

  • Confirm if this is your current address

  • Select Yes if this is a current address or No if it's a previous address

If you do not live in the UK

  • Select Country to select the correct country

  • Enter the address line 1

  • Enter the address line 2 (optional)

  • Enter the city

  • Enter your postcode

  • Select Yes if this is a current address or No if it's a previous address

If you need to add more addresses

  • Tap ➕Add address if you have lived at more than one address.

  • Repeat the steps above for each previous address until your full history is complete.

Common questions

What if my postcode is not valid

  • Is your postcode new?

If the postcode is new, contact us with your details at [email protected]

  • Is the postcode from the UK?

If the postcode is not from the UK, you might want to tap on where it says country. Select the correct country and fill in the details.

  • If your postcode is from the UK and still not recognised by the app

💡 Tips for a smooth experience

  • Please enter the addresses where you occupied during the past three years, including the accurate dates when you were there.

  • If you have been living at home for the last three years, you will still need to enter this in my residence history
