Receiving Your Flow Invitation from Checkboard

In most cases, invitations will be sent to you via email or text message, with the sender’s name appearing as Checkboard.

Who Sends the Flow Invitations?

When you’re asked to complete a flow on Checkboard (for example, to verify your identity or provide documents), it’s important to understand who actually sends the invitation and how the process works.

Who Can Send Me an Invitation for a Flow?

The business or organisation that requests you to complete a flow in Checkboard is responsible for sending the invitation to start the process.

This could be a solicitor, estate agent, lender, or another professional service using Checkboard to manage their compliance or onboarding.

🟦 Important: Checkboard itself does not send the initial links to start a flow. The invitation always comes from the business that requested it.

Can Checkboard Send Me an Invitation?

No — Checkboard does not issue invitations directly.

Our platform facilitates the flow process once the business has created and sent your invitation.

If you contact Checkboard about a missing invitation, we won’t be able to create one for you.

Why Can’t I See the Invitation Sent from the Business?

If you’re having trouble accessing your flow invitation, here are some common reasons and what you can do:

  1. Your contact details may be incorrect.
The business might have entered your phone number or email address incorrectly when setting up your invitation.
👉 Solution: Contact the business directly and confirm that they have your correct details.

  2. The invitation may have gone to your spam or junk folder.
👉 Solution: Check your email’s spam or junk folder, or your text messages, for a message from Checkboard.

  3. The business may not have sent the invitation yet.
👉 Solution: Follow up with your contact at the business to confirm whether your flow invitation has been sent.

What If the Business Redirects Me to Checkboard?

If the business asks you to contact Checkboard for help, please note that we still cannot issue invitations ourselves.

However, you can:

  • Copy in your main contact at the business in an email.

  • Ask them to email [email protected] explaining the situation.

Once we receive confirmation from the business, we’ll work with them to resolve the issue so that you can access your invitation and complete your flow.

In Summary

  • The business that requested the flow sends the invitation, not Checkboard.

  • If you haven’t received your invitation, start by confirming your contact details with the business.

  • Checkboard can assist but cannot create or resend invitations directly.

By working together with both the business and Checkboard, you can quickly resolve any issues and continue your flow without delay.
